Valentines Day Fireworks

The past 26 years Lake Havasu City hosts the Annual Western Winter Blast Pyrotechnics Show over Presidents weekend.  It's an a-m-a-z-i-n-g show you can see for miles away. If you want to get up close and personal you pay $5 a car at Sara Park, bring your chair and refreshments and watch the show. Thursday through Sunday nights pyrotechnics vendors showcase the newest and most impressive fireworks. It's an evening of grand finale's that go on for hours. They are so unique and some appeared to be 3-D. Or maybe that was Peggy's brownies.

Kay made an inaugural holiday weekend trip with her new Minnie travel trailer. It is really nice and very roomy inside. Classy.

House party at Kay's!

Check out these beautiful Valentine's jello shots

Jumbo cored strawberries with boozy jello inside, dipped in dark chocolate,
topped with whipped cream.

River Life

Once we made it to the Super Bowl our neighbor Bob, a 49er's fan, agreed to wear the Seahawk "feather" hat and post it for his friends and family to see.

Melissa gave this one of a kind T-shirt to her Dad for his birthday.

We went to some pre game parties with friends. Here are my stained glass jello shots in team colors.
Then we went home to watch the game by ourselves

As you know, Seahawks lost the game in the last 20 seconds. Tim didn't turn on the TV or his computer for 3 days. Although heartbroken, we're proud of our team and look forward to next season. Go Hawks!

 Back to River life.
At Pirates Den across the River, they had a scavenger hunt. Annette dressed the part and joined the others on the pirate ship.

Our neighbors Becky & Steve; Melinda and Bob
Can't forget Billy and Maggie

Burros remain from the prospector days and run wild on the road. I've never seen them run, they actually saunter quite slowly. Sometimes they just stand there in the middle of road and you have to drive around them. Of course, there are always lots of coyotes.

Thanks to my Mom and Chris for bringing wonderful homegrown fruit to us!

The one neon from our house that made the cut and travels with us.

I've been taking a water color painting class once a week with Melinda. Her friend Karen is the instructor at their resort called RiverLand. For just $5 the 3 hour lesson includes all supplies. I enjoy having another hobby while on the road.

This dirt road leads to Havasu Palms another 7.2 miles away. I can't imagine driving there in an RV

One afternoon we drove to Black Meadow on Lake Havasu. It's too remote for us.

We like checking out other RV spots and we've remained pleased with our choice at Sundance RV
