The Den

How fun is this!  We're staying at Pirates Den on the Parker Strip. I'm in my element with the other river rats who inhabit this place. There is a restaurant and bar on premises with live music on the weekends and two more good restaurants within walking distance. This is the Black Pearl at Pirates Den.

Pirates Den is part of La Paz County Park. Located on the north side of the Park is the Roadrunner. You can walk, drive, or boat to this river bar/restaurant. We love their Monday special: 4 tacos for $5, your choice of fish, carne asada, or chicken.

We have met so many fun people. They are from Canadia, Minnesota, Washington, Colorado, California. Many days and evenings are spent in the sand in front of our place. We don't have a car to drive to town for groceries and beer so Dale graciously took us. Many thanks.
