Heading south

I haven't updated the blog in several weeks so I've got to get on it. So much has happened I needed to look at the photos to chronicle events.

My brother Dave and his family have a home in the mountains between Santa Cruz and Monterey near the amazing Mount Madonna Retreat & Yoga Center.

Their property is on a beautiful piece of property with redwood trees, wildlife, interesting outbuildings and their animals: horses, chickens, and dogs. The peacocks have moved on.

 

He's even got full RV hook-ups for the next time we come to visit. A crazy thing happened here. We actually gained a day! When does that ever happen? Unknown to us at the time, we were a day ahead of schedule. We figured it out the next day on our drive over the Grapevine into SoCal. Had we known, we would have spent the night in the teepee.
