Old Tucson Studios

When we first got to Tucson, Dennis and Jackie took us to buy a "Passport" discount booklet. All the attractions we are going to are 2 for 1 admission. No trip here wouldn't be complete without going to Old Tucson Studios. Everyone likes a good cowboy movie, right?

It is an active studio that has been used for over 300 movies, tv shows and commercials.

What a wonderful background the Tucson Mountains are for cowboy movies. This building is where The Virginian, High Chaparrel and Little House on the Prairie were filmed.

Doesn't this chapel looks familiar? It's available for a shotgun wedding if you're interested.

We saw a can-can show and a couple of stunt shows.  I was chosen to be a part of the demonstration at The Alamo. Lucky me. Where is dial-a-shot when I really need one!?
